Mauna Kea Observatories viewed from the Northwest
All of the optical/IR telescopes can be seen in this photograph. In
the distance at the right is the Hawaii antenna of the Very Long
Baseline Array, located about 2 miles from the summit. The
submillimeter telescopes cannot be seen in this photograph.
